Take a Drive

Just a few miles north or south of Laguna Beach are some great spots worth checking out! Hop in the car and explore some of our favorite spots.

Huntington Beach – Surf City
Huntington Beach is best known for their surf culture, with 8.5 miles of uninterrupted beaches. The city features the most consistent waves on the West Coast. The Huntington Beach Pier is the iconic heart of the city. At 1,800 ft, it’s one of the longest municipal piers in California, and it stands as the city’s front porch to the wide open Pacific. Grab a bite to eat at the red-roofed Ruby’s Diner, which sits at the end of the pier.

Historic San Juan Capistrano
San Juan Capistrano is home to "The Jewel of the Missions" and has been the center of Orange County since its founding in 1776. Today it is one of California's most important historical, cultural, and educational centers. The Los Rios Historic District includes 31 structures which line both sides of Los Rios Street between Del Obispo and Mission Streets. In addition to historic sites, San Juan Capistrano is home to charming restaurants and shopping.
